Parts of the Doran PressurePro Tire Monitoring System
The Doran PressurePro Monitoring System is a compact system that delivers powerful results and protection. Each tire pressure monitoring system from the Doran PressurePro product line consists of two basic components:
Component 1: Sensor
These Sensors (1.01"H x 1.11" Diam.) wirelessly send a signal containing tire pressure data to the portable dashboard monitor.
Component 2: Monitor
A device (6.5" W x 3.0" H x .5" D), about the size of a one-dollar bill, that receives actual tire pressure data and gives visual and audible signals if pressure is low.
How The System Works
The Sensors are continually reading and sending signals to the monitor about the air pressure in each tire around the clock. This can occur 12,343 times every day!
With each signal, the air pressure reading is transmitted to the monitor located near the driver. This wireless signal will read up to 100 feet under most conditions. Radio signals have restrictions placed by law and Doran PressurePro complies with all regulations and FCC guidelines. The signal from the Sensor is strong and specific to the receiver, which is tuned for sensitivity to the Sensor signal.
The monitor receives this signal and instantly compares the current tire pressure reading with the automatically set pressure level. When the Doran PressurePro Sensor sends a signal to the monitor detecting a 12.5% drop in tire pressure, both a visual and an audible signal are transmitted. With a flashing tire position light, an audible beep, as well as the flashing tire pressure, the operator knows which tire(s) is/are in need of attention. If the tire pressure drops to 25% below the automatically set pressure level, the operator will receive a rapid audible 'beeping' sound and a faster visual 'flashing' on the monitor.
No other system on the market today uses this latest technology in tire pressure monitoring systems. Being a DIRECT tire pressure monitoring system, Doran PressurePro generates more accurate warnings and can alert the driver if the pressure in any one tire falls below a predetermined level due to gradual or rapid air loss.

As with cell phones, signal interference is always a possibility, but Doran PressurePro has been designed with redundant signals to ensure greater reliability at all times and under all conditions.
