A. The Electrocharger™ can provide more power than your alternator, to power aftermarket computer, audio and video systems.

Q. Can the unit work in an installation where your unit may replace another belt driven pump, such as power steering?
A. If necessary, but this would require custom brackets, which is typically not necessary.

Q. What does your future applications list look like (what can I expect)?
A. Vehicle applications will be added as demand requires. in the meantime you can adapt the universal system to your vehicle by making your own brackets.

Q. What size engines will you be looking to?
A. All 4-cylinder to V-8 vehicles.

Q. What's governing your applications (engine parameters)?
A. There are none.

Q. Heavier on "Domestic" or "Import"?
A. There are no preferences; it is purely demand-based for our vehicle specific kits.

Q. Does the Electrocharger™ act as a DC Generator, or an AC alternator?
A. Actually its neither and a little bit of both. The current generated by the ElectrochargerTM is an alternating DC current that is filtered to act more like a DC generator.

Q. Does the Electrocharger™ act as an alternator also?
A. It acts as an alternator to power your vehicles electrical system and to charge the SCBP when necessary.

Q. Is the Electrocharger™ safe to use with turbo and nitrous?
A. The Electrocharger™ works in conjunction with your supercharges, turbochargers and nitrous oxide systems.

Q. Do you sell the install brackets separately and can I still utilize the same Electrocharger™ after I change engines or buy another car?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you have any performance charts that show 1/4 mile times with stock configuration and with Electrocharger™?
A. We will have the Electrocharger™ dyno information within the next few months and we will keep you posted with the results.

Q. How long has the Electrocharger™ product been on the market?
A. It was introduced at the SEMA show 2003 and will be reintroduced at SEMA 2004 with our new SR motor and Lithium-Ion battery pack.

Q. Do you have a brochure? Can you e-mail it?
A. Because we have changed our motor and battery pack technology we will have our new brochures available at a later date. Currently, all info is posted on this website.

Q. What is the background on the Electrocharger’s™ development to the product today?
A. A portion of the development work and patent work predates 1994 and in 1997 a prototype vehicle was built and tested with much success. Finally, in 2003 battery and motor technology evolved to make the system commercially viable for the aftermarket.

Q. Does the Electrocharger™ cause the engine to run lean when it is activated?
